Unit 5 lớp 12: Higher Education-Writing

You want to apply for an undergraduate programme in a university in England. Write a letter of request (about 150 words) to UCAS to ask for the information about the admission requirements to the university, using the information in the Reading and Speaking sections on page 52 &56. You much follow the outline below (Em muổn nộp đơn học chương trình cử nhân ở một trường đại học ở Anh. Viết một lá thư yêu cầu (khoảng 150 từ) đến Văn phòng ghi danh đại học và cao đẳng (UCAS) để hỏi thông tin về điều kiện ghi danh vào trường, dùng thông tin ở phẩn Bài đọc và Nói ở những trang 52 và 56)

- Introduction:

• State the reasons why you are writing, your interest in tertiary study in England (mention the name of the programme/the universities/...)

- Request:

• State what information you would like them to provide: tuition fee, accommodation, exams,...

- Further information:

• Say you would be happy to supply further information about yourself such as your English proficiency and record of secondary education study,...

- Conclusion:

• End with a polite closing.

Yêu cầu: Thông báo những thông tin bạn họ muốn cung cấp: học phí, chỗ ở, kỳ thi, ...  

Thêm thông tin: Nói rằng bạn sẽ vui lòng cung cấp thêm thông tin về bản thân bạn như trình độ tiếng Anh và hồ sơ của bạn về giáo dục trung học, ...  

Phần kết luận: Kết thúc thư một cách lịch sự.
